Hot Rod and Custom Show 2022

We are pleased to announce the return of Hot Rod and Custom in 2022 on 19th June. The South’s biggest Hot Rod and Custom returns on Father’s Day and features hundreds of cool, colourful, custom cars, live music and hip entertainment throughout the day!

Held in association with Solent Renegades, our Hot Rod & Custom Show makes an unforgettable summer day out!

AMAZING VEHICLES

Hot Rods, Customs, American Muscle, Chops & Bobbers will be among the hundreds of vehicles on display. You can expect a stunning display of American motors. From classic Camaros to modern Mustangs, can you spot your dream car?

Awards will be given in the following categories: Best in Show, Best Custom, Best Hot Rod, Best American (in association with Solent Renegades) and Best Bike.

SHOW AMBASSADOR ANDY SAUNDERS

Renowned custom car builder Andy Saunders will be returning as show ambassador, bringing one of his astonishing creations along as part of the packed show.

Famous in the motoring world for his incredible car builds, combining skill and artistic flair, Andy will be chatting with custom fans, meeting other owners and builders, and talking with showgoers about his 1937 Cord Westchester Tetanus which he plans to drive to the show. Then he will be judging and presenting his own award for his favourite car of the show.

CLASSIC AMERICAN MAGAZINE

Classic American magazine will be holding one of the heats for its Car of the Year competition at the event. Show participants with qualifying unmodified American cars of any era will be invited to compete, with a trophy for the owner of the most impressive machine and automatic entry into the finals at the NEC’s Classic Motor Show in November.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

We have a wide range of entertainment taking place throughout the day. Get dancing as show favourites Jitterbug Jive return! Plus, live music will feature throughout the day including vintage rock n’ roll from The Bandits and the nostalgic 1940s vocal group, Company B!
